| Scholarships are granted to
talented artists who have graduated in Art and are interested
in specialization in some specific branch of visual
arts under the guidance of senior artists. The State
Lalit Kala Akademi, U. P invites applications on a prescribed
format from such artists. Scholarship is given to 5
selected artists at the rate of Rs. 1000/- per month
for a year. Selections are made on the recommendations
of a Committee constituted for the purpose according
to the rules to the Akademi.

| Financial
Assistance for Exhibition Click

To encourage, promising young artists
of the State for exhibiting their talents, financial assistance
is provided. Each year applications, along with the artists
bio data and photographs of selected works are invited.
Selections are made by a Committee constituted for this
and 7 artists are selected for assistance. The selected
artists are given Rs. 2500/- as financial assistance for
holding their exhibitions. |
